Jonas Fries is a descendant of the Fries family and part of its creative network.
He dedicated works to his great-uncle, the visual artist Wolfgang Fries (*1921–2005). The life’s work and artistic estate of the Nuremberg-based artist consist predominantly of painting and ceramics.
